Derek graduated with a degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. In 2015 he made the move to Colorado where he fell in love with the mountains and community of Crested Butte. Derek joined Crew 23 in 2019. His favorite part of construction is seeing a vision and making that vision become a reality. Derek may look all business but one time in an undisclosed location he got caught skinny dipping with a group of friends and had to be escorted out by the security guards!
